“Review ka reply kaise de in english”
That is Google’s own top autocomplete for the question, and it says something honest about how Indian owners work. Plenty of them think in Hindi and still want the published reply in English, because English is what the listing looks professional in and what an out-of-town customer reads.
Here is what actually happens, with no toggle to hunt for. A review typed in Roman script, Hinglish or Banglish included, is drafted in English already, because that is the script the customer chose. A review written in Devanagari or Bengali script is drafted in that script, to answer the customer in the language they used. Worth saying the other way round too: a reply in the reviewer’s own language is read by every future customer who speaks it, and that is most of the people deciding whether to walk into a neighbourhood shop.

Tone, and the things you never want said, are kept on the business profile and applied to every generation. The formal clinic and the chatty cafe do not get the same sentences.
Your business type
Restaurants, clinics, salons and retail each carry their own tone and compliance preset. A clinic reply will not confirm someone was a patient or mention treatment.
